Logistics The
Guide for participants offers full information on meeting arrangements. Meeting venue Forum 8 will be held at the Hotel Sheraton Centro Historico, Mexico City.The meeting opens in the late afternoon of Tuesday 16 November and closes at lunchtime on Saturday 20 November. Language English is the working language of the meeting. Joint Forum 8/Summit plenary sessions will be interpreted in English and Spanish.Visas For details of visa requirements please consult the nearest Mexican consulate or embassy.
Travel and accommodation Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.Convention Center, the Global Forum's mandated agent for arrangements in Mexico City, handles participation fees, hotel reservation, sightseeing and local logistics: Convention Center Mexico DF E-mail forum8@convention-center.net The Global Forum for Health Research has made a block booking
of rooms to ensure good prices for participants at the
following four hotels. Reservations should be made through Convention Center to
get the prices quoted. Reservations can be made at the time of
on-line registration for Forum 8.
Transfers between the airport in Mexico City and Forum 8 hotels Included in the participation fee is a bus transfer from the airport and the Forum 8 hotels upon arrival and return (only on Friday 20 November, at the end of the meeting). Please inform Convention Center of your arrival/departure dates and times, carrier and flight number so that they can estimate demand and guarantee a place for you.
