As an advocate for using research evidence to do things better, the Global Forum pays particular attention to continual assessments as regards efficiency and effectiveness of its efforts and impact.

It regularly monitors and evaluates its progress through:

  • meetings of its Foundation Council;
  • progress reports which are submitted to the Foundation Council twice a year and are summarized in a published Annual Review;
  • accounts audited by one of the world's leading auditing firms;
  • external evaluations, which are carried out every 3-5 years;
  • surveys among its stakeholders via its web site and at Forum meetings about Global Forum products and services.
